Membership

Rochdale Credit Union is a co-operative financial institution. That means that when you become a customer at Rochdale, you also become an owner. Everyone is welcome to join our Credit Union and benefit from ownership.

You have the right to vote each year at the Annual General Meeting, to assist in establishing the future direction of the Credit Union. This includes voting for the Board of Directors. The Board meets throughout the year and is responsible for all major decisions regarding Rochdale's operations. This includes strategic planning, operations, finances, marketing, human resources, member development and satisfaction, and community citizenship. As a member of Rochdale, you are also given the opportunity to stand for election to the Board of Directors.

As an owner, you share in Rochdale's profits. You also have a voice in the Credit Union's operations. Our management and employees welcome any comments or suggestions that you have about the Credit Union throughout the year. You can feel free to talk to us about your ideas.
